Hi there,

Well I've just got back to the UK after my weeks fishing at your fantastic resort. I came with hopes of catching a few good fish, but nothing could have prepared me for what was to come.

I knew it was going to be good when my first fish was a beautiful 36lb mirror from the Chateau peg. My PB is (or was) 18lb, so you can imagine how pleased I was to double it with my first fish!

Then they just kept coming - 20lb, 22.5lb, 26lb, and 29lb - not to mention the ones that got away! In all, me and my friend caught 13 fish, with all but 2 being over 20lb. How many places in the UK can boast such a good record?

I was initially a little bit worried as I'm not a very experienced carp angler, but the worry quickly went after some excellent advice from both David and Tom. Your lake is proof that you don't need to be experienced to catch quality fish and have a great time!

The food is fantastic, all the staff are a credit to the resort, and the fishing really is out of this world.

I'd just like to thank everybody for the friendly service that they provided, and will DEFINITELY be seeing you all again, same time next year!
